Descriptives

Each limeobject has a string property called descriptive:

If you want the descriptive in a specific language, you can use this method:

The descriptive is generated from a template at runtime.

The template is generated from a list of predefined labels:

The first string in the list that’s used as a label on the limeobject is used to generate the template.

The template for a descriptive can be accessed on the limeobjects limetype:

Examples

1. A limeobject has a property with the label nickname set to “My nickname” and another property with the label companynumber set to “123”. Since nickname comes before companynumber in the list, that property will be used to generate the descriptive. The value of the descriptive will be “My nickname”.

2. A limeobject has no property with a label on it. This results in an empty string as the descriptive.
