Troubleshooting¶
Many Companies Failed to Update¶
There's most likely something wrong with your field mapping. By hovering over the widget on one of the failed companies you can figure out why the update failed and which properties are involved. Check out this section about Field Type Support to read up on potential causes.
Once you have fixed the field mapping issue(s) in Lime Admin, test that your fix works by manually updating a failed company. You can then either manually update the rest of the failed companies or reset the value on the error message field on all companies. Therefore, make sure that the acd_errormessage
field is temporally added to the company card view, then go to the company table view and bulk update the acd_errormessage
field to an empty value. With the error message being reset these companies will be updated the next time the automatic update task is executed.
Timeouts when Importing Companies¶
We changed the length of the field acd_legalform
from 32 to 256 characters in the installation package (the LIP file) after reports that it's often used for longer text. Installations made before that change may still have only 32 characters in that field and have to adapt the change manually. This can cause timeouts when importing a company where the value to this field can't be saved.
ACD Dialog Not Triggered When Adding a Company in the Desktop Client¶
Review the installation instructions for the desktop client and ensure that you have completed all the steps.
