How It Works - Brønnøysundregistrene¶

Using Brønnøysundregistrene as data source is free and open for all.

Brønnøysundregistrene API¶

ACD fetches data from the following endpoints in the Brønnøysundregistrene API when a single search is performed.

/enheter endpoint is using a free text search among main units based on company name.
/enheter/{orgnr} endpoint makes it possible to search for a single company by organization number. Note that the organization number must be an exact match.
/underenheter endpoint is using a free text search among subunits based on company name.
/underenheter/{orgnr} endpoint makes it possible to search for a single company by organization number. Note that the organization number must be an exact match.

Searches in the Brønnøysundregistrene API are always performed in Norway.
